The Village People will judge this year's fancy dress competition at Bestival on the Isle Of Wight, it's been announced.
The competition at the festival, which takes place at Robin Hill Country Park from September 8-11, is this year themed around Rock Stars, Pop Stars and Divas.
Organiser Rob Da Bank said: “I can’t think of a more suitable act to judge this year’s Fancy Dress competition than the Village People.
"They practically invented the genre so prepare to put some effort in to wow the cowboy, impress the policeman or win over the Red Indian with your best Rock Star, Pop Star or Diva.”
Musical acts due to appear at Bestival include Santigold, Johnny Flynn, Yuck, Young Rebel Sett, PJ Harvey, Kelis, Mogwai, James Blake, The Drums, Magnetic Man, Robyn, Crystal Castles, DJ Shadow, Katy B and A Trak.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now. For more details and to buy Bestival tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
