Muse bassist Chris Wolstenhome has denied reports that he is set to take over as the lead songwriter in Muse from Matt Bellamy.
On Tuesday (May 31), The Sun reported that Bellamy was stepping aside because he was expecting a baby with fiancée Kate Hudson.
But on Twitter, Wolstenhome said: “So to clear things up amongst any readers of The Sun out there, its all a load of b*llocks.”
Muse are expected to begin work on their follow-up to 2009's 'The Resistance' later this year.
Last month, Bellamy said he hoped fatherhood would have an impact on the album, adding that he was "hoping" to be "inspired by upcoming events".
