Coldplay are set to release new song this Friday (June 3), it's been announced.
The track, entitled 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall', will be available digitally on at 12pm (BST), except in the UK where it will be released at midnight on June 4. You can see the artwork for the single on the right hand side of this page.
The announcement follows a number of teaser clues posted on the band's Twitter and Facebook pages.
At present, it is not known whether 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' is a one-off single or a track taken from Coldplay's forthcoming new album.
The group have yet to confirm when their follow-up to 2008's 'Viva La Vida and Death And All His Friends' will be released, but is it expected to arrive before the end of 2011.
The band are scheduled to headline the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset next month.
