Katy Perry has expressed her sadness after her husband Russell Brand was apparently deported from Japan.
Perry and Brand arrived in the country today (May 22) as part of the singer’s California Dreams world tour.
In a series of messages on Twitter, the singer suggested authorities had taken action over incidents in the comedian’s past.
“So...my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place,” Perry wrote.
“It was for priors from over 10 years ago!”
But despite Brand’s deportation, Perry vowed that she will still perform in the country.
