The Broadway adaptation of Spider-Man, which features music by U2, has been re-launched following a revamp.
The original $65million production began previews in November, but was put on hold in April following a string of delays, cast injuries and poor reviews.
Producers have spent the last three weeks re-writing much of the script, which has placed new emphasis on the storyline and raised the profile of characters including the Green Goblin.
Theatre-goers at the Foxwoods Theatre on Thursday (May 12) said they were won over by the changes, reports the New York Daily News.
U2's Bono and The Edge have also written new songs for the revamped production of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, which will now open on June 14.
