George Michael is recording a wedding song for Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The former Wham! Star has selected a song after putting out a request to his fans, but he has refused to reveal its identity.
On Twitter, Michael said the track - which starts with 'You...' and was written in the “seventies by a genius” - was his “wedding gift” to the Royal couple.
“Let's pick a song I can give to you on here sometime this week,” he said, “I'll grab my piano player and bob's your uncle...
“Wedding gift and bank holiday thank you to my Twitter lovelies rolled into one.”
In a message today (April 11), Michael said he would record the song at home tomorrow (12) and that it would “hopefully” be finished by Thursday (14).
Prince William and Middleton are set to tie the knot on April 29 in London.
