 
 Paul McCartney and Dixie Chicks both make appearances on Steve Martin's new album. 
The actor-turned-singer will release 'Rare Bird Alert', his second album with The Steep Canyon Rangers, on June 13.
The bluegrass album features 13 tracks written by Martin and was produced by Tony Trischka.
Meanwhile, Martin is set to embark on a short UK tour in support of the album, kicking off at London's Hammersmith Apollo on July 8.
He will also play Manchester Apollo on July 9 and Clyde Cultural Hall in Glasgow the following night (10).
