The restraining order placed against Chris Brown after he assaulted former girlfriend Rihanna has been relaxed by a judge in Los Angeles.
The US R&B singer must now stay 10 yards – down from 50 yards – from the singer at music industry events.
Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg's decision came after Rihanna consented to a relaxation of the order.
Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna following an incident shortly before the 2009 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Brown was also sentenced to six months community labour and five years probation over the attack.
