Fans of Justin Bieber have launched a hate campaign against Esperanza Spalding after the singer won Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
The little-known jazz singer was the surprise winner, taking home the prize ahead of Bieber, Drake, Florence & The Machine and Mumford & Sons.
Bieber's fans did not take too kindly to Spalding's success, and posted a series of a attacks on her Wikipedia page.
One said: “JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAY?"
The vandalism has since been removed from the website, which allows users to edit text without moderation.
Meanwhile, in an interview with MTV News, Bieber said he was “disappointed” not to win the award, but was hopeful of winning next year.
