Britney Spears Announces New Album Release Date

Britney Spears has confirmed the release date for her new album.

The as-yet-untitled effort will be released on March 15, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The release date was confirmed by Jive Records after a memo sheet containing the details leaked online.

Spears has worked with the likes of producers Dr Luke, Max Martin and Stargate on the project, which is her seventh studio album.

‘Hold It Against Me’, the first single from the album, debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 last week. It has also proved popular on US radio stations.
