Chase & Status have told Gigwise that they are set to work with Jay-Z.
Will Kennard, one half of the duo, said they were preparing to travel to American to meet the rapper and bosses at his record, label Roc Nation.
“I think were heading over to the States soon to meet up with Jay-Z and Roc Nation,” he said. “It’s really important for us to keep our foot in the door.
“It’s a big world and you can get easily forgotten about so we need to get back over there and kick start that.”
In an exclusive interview with Gigwise, Kennard also revealed that Chase & Status planned to hook-up with more British talent after previously working with the likes of Plan B and Liam Bailey.
Meanwhile, Chase & Status release their new album 'No More Idols' on January 31. You can read the full Chase & Status interview now.
