Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones Working With Go Compare Advert Star

Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones is working the star of a popular TV advert, according to reports.

Wynne Evans, who plays the voice of Gio Compario for Go Compare, approached Jones during rehearsals for new musical Anna Nicole.

The Sun reports that Evans wants Jones to help make him “respectable” again. It is not clear if they are working on songs for a new album.

Meanwhile, Jones said earlier this month that will feature on stage during the production of Annie Nicole, which is based on the life of model Anna Nicole Smith.

It is due to open in London next month and run for six dates.
