The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas has unveiled what he claims is the official artwork for the band’s new album.
Earlier this week, the singer caused confusion when he posted an "official" shot of the artwork on Twitter - only for fans to be forwarded to a photo of a painted wall.
However, in a new post on his micro-blog, Casablancas posted another image, and said: “Here's the official album cover, seriously.”
The new neon-coloured collage covering a male’s portrait and is accompanied by the band’s name.
The image has again been greeted by an uncertain response from fans, with one calling it “seriously hideous” and others claiming it is another joke.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the much-anticipated album, which is still untitled, is due out on March 22.
