Whitney Houston has left the rehabilitation clinic she has been staying at and is working on material for a new album.

The singer’s mentor Clive Davis has spoken to Access Hollywood, he said: "Whitney is out of rehab, and we are meeting in about 10 days."

"There is no-one like Whitney. If you go to the writers, the producers, the arrangers, they can't wait for her to come back."

"She has been through a battle, but she is the best singer, so I cannot wait to be in the studio with her."

Houston battles with addictions have led to enter rehab twice in the past year.

Her new album will be her first in three years.
