Rihanna is on course to end X Factor winner Matt Cardle's reign at the top of the UK singles chart.
The singer's Drake-featuring single 'What's My Name' is number one on the midweek chart, according to the Official Charts Company.
Cardle's hit 'When We Collide' – a cover of Biffy Clyro's 'May Of Horror' – is down one place to number two.
Meanwhile, in the album chart, Plan B's 'The Defamation Of Strictland Banks' has enjoyed a sales surge after its retail price was discounted by High Street retailers.
It is currently outselling Rihanna's fifth album 'Loud', while Cee Lo Green's 'The Lady Killer' is also enjoyed a renewed sales boost.
