The Ramones are set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at next year’s Grammys, it has been revaled.
The punk pioneering band will receive the prestigious award 14 years after they last played together.
The only surviving member, drummer Tommy Ramone, will pick up the award on behalf of the band at the ceremony in February.
Also receiving a Life Time Achievement award will be actress Julie Andrews, singer Dolly Parton, jazz drummer Roy Haynes.
Meanwhile, The Beatles and Prince have been nominated to enter the Grammy Hall Of Fame.
