An actor in the musical adaptation of Spider-Man has been injured after falling during a performance on Monday (December 20).
The performer, whose identity is not known, was taken to a New York hospital.
The New York Fire Department said the 31-year-old had fallen from a height of around 30ft.
Audience member Jonathan Dealwis told CNN there appeared to be a problem with the actor's harness.
Spider-Man: Turn Of The Dark, which features songs written by U2's Bono and The Edge, is currently in previews at the Foxwoods Theatre on Broadway.
It is due to open in February 2011 following a number of delays. Critics have so far been left divided by performances.
