X Factor winner Matt Cardle has taken this year's Christmas number one with 'When We Collide'.
The singer's debut single, a cover of Biffy Clyro's 'Many Of Horror', sold 439,000 copies in its first week.
It prevented a Facebook campaign to get the original to number one, as well as Rihanna's Drake-featuring single 'What's My Name', which came in at number two.
Cardle's single is the second biggest selling song of the year. He called the triumph “mind-blowing”.
