Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is set to appear in the new Muppets movie, it has emerged.
The singer and former Nirvana drummer will play a replacement drummer for Electric Mayhem drummer Animal when the Muppet is forced to seek anger management.
The new Muppets movie, which will be the first since 1999’s Muppets From Space, is due out next Christmas.
Lady Gaga has also been linked to the film and is understood to be in talks with producers.
Actors Jason Segal and Zach Galifianakis are set to appear in the movie, reports MTV News.
