Michael Jackson's father has refiled a wrongful death lawsuit against the doctor charged over the singer's death last year.
Joe Jackson claims a Las Vegas pharmacy sold Dr Conrad Murray excessive quantities of the anaesthetic propofol, which was blamed on Jackson's death.
He also alleges that Dr Murray had been negligent in administering propofol to Jackson, and didn't tell medical staff he had given him the drug, reports BBC News.
Mr Jackson, who initially filed the action on June 25 – the first anniversary of his son's death - is seeking damages from Dr Murray.
But authorities said doctors licensed in two states can buy the anaesthetic from one and administer it in another. Dr Murray is licensed in California, Nevada and Texas.
In a seperate case, Dr Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter of Jackson.
