George Bush, who recently broke his silence on about Kayne West's infamous outbursts surrounding Hurricane Katrina, has said he does not hate the rapper.
The former president appeared on NBC's Today Show promoting his new memoir and said: ''I am not a hater. I don't hate Kanye West.''
He added: ''I was talking about an environment in which people were willing to say things that hurt. Nobody wants to be called a racist, if in your heart you believe in equality of race.''
West, who had claimed that Bush's slow response to the crisis was because he didn't ''care about black people'', issued an apology to the former president in a recent interview.
The rapper today (November 10) expressed his frustration with the media's constant questioning about the incident on his Twitter.
