Beyonce is pregnant with her first child, according to US media reports.
The 29-year-old singer, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, is said to be in her first trimester.
"B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet," a source told Us magazine. "She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again."
Neither Beyonce nor Jay-Z have yet to confirm the reports, despite a number of friends sending messages of congratulations.
The couple married in 2008, but have rarely discussed details about their relationship in public.
