The singer's hits were played 275,000 by DJs through to September, with 'Bad Romance' proving the most popular.
The award, which is collated by airplay monitoring body Nielsen Music, was handed out at the Radio Festival in Manchester on Tuesday (October 19).

Take That, who have recently reformed with Robbie Williams, took home the award in 2009.
