Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards is to reprise is role as Captain Teague in the next instalment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.
Richards, whose character is the father of Jack Sparrow – played by friend Johnny Depp – is currently filming his appearance, reports Reuters.
The guitarist made his debut in the the third movie, Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End, in 2007.
The fourth film, On Stranger Tiders, is due to be released in 2011, but won't feature many of the original cast, including Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom.
Meanwhile, Richards' autobiography, Life, is due to be released later this month.
