The cast of Glee have broken The Beatles' record for most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 by a non-solo act.
The show had so far managed to score 69 hits on the US chart, but passed that mark this week after releasing a further six songs from last week's Britney/Brittany episode.
Songs released from the episode include a cover of Britney Spears 'Toxic' and Paramore's ballad, 'The Only Exception'.
The Beatles originally held the Hot 100 record with 71 songs charting on the US chart.
Spears is the latest artist to be recognised by Glee. Other episodes have featured the music of Lady Gaga and Madonna.
Sir Paul McCartney, George Michael and Coldplay are all understood to have agreed to take part in the second series.
