Lady Gaga Consoled By Family As Grandfather Dies Aged 88

Lady Gaga is being consoled by friends and family following the death of her grandfather.

Joseph Germanotta, 88, passed away at a nursing home in New Jersey on Friday (September 24).

Lady Gaga was spotted visiting at the nursing home in Lincoln Park on Wednesday (September 22) with her boyfriend Luc Carl and mother Cynthia Germanotta, reports the Daily Mail.

The singer first revealed that her grandfather was unwell during a concert in Nottingham earlier this year.

She told fans at the time that the pair were “really close” and dedicated her performance of 'Speechless' to her grandfather.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is scheduled to resume the latest North American leg of her Monster Ball world tour in Los Angeles on October 2.
