Katy Perry poked fun at the controversy over her axed Sesame Street cameo as she appeared on Saturday Night Live (SNL) last night (September 25).
Last week, producers were forced to axe the singer’s skit with Elmo on the children’s TV show after parents complained that her outfit was to revealing.
Appearing on the set of Bronx Beat on SNL, Perry sported a revealing t-shirt emblazoned with Elmo’s face.
The singer, who was playing a 16-year-old library volunteer, bounced up and down as she responded to questions.

"Looks like today's show is brought you by number 38 and letter double D," host Amy Poehler told Perry.
Comedian Maya Rodolph added: "Who cares if kids are looking at boobs - boobs feed babies, alright?"
Perry went on to perform two songs - ‘California Gurls’ and ‘Teenage Dream’ - on the show.
On Friday (September 24), Elmo responded to the Sesame Street Saga on Good Morning America and promised Perry another “play date”.
