Kings Of Leon were never asked to work with the hit TV show Glee, one of its creators has revealed.
In August, the US band claimed they had turned down an offer to contribute their songs to the show.
But Ian Brennan told the Canadian Press that producers hadn’t approached Kings Of Leon. He also said around 80 per cent of rumoured Glee collaborations were false.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Glee season two gets under way in the US next week.
The opening episode, entitled Audition, will see the members of fictitious New Directions glee club travel to New York to compete in National finals.
It will feature songs by Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Travie McCoy and Poison.
