Eminem: Lady Gaga's Raw Meat Outfit 'Smelled Bad'

Eminem was put out by Lady Gaga's raw meat outfit at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Sunday (September 12), it's been reported.

The singer courted controversy when she wore the outfit to collect the award for Video Of The Year at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

And it has now been claimed that Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers – felt unconformable about Lady Gaga's choice of attire.

"Marshall said he didn't want to be sat next to a pile of raw meat all night,” a source told the Mirror. “He said it smelled pretty bad."

Lady Gaga had already come under fire from animal welfare groups after she sported the outfit on the cover of a fashion magazine earlier this month.

But during an interview on US TV on Monday (September 13), the singer defended the outfit, and said she didn’t want to be "just another bitch in a dress at an awards show”.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Lady Gaga was the big winner at the VMAs, taking home eight awards out of a possible thirteen.
