Noel Gallagher has condemned the current showbiz scene as “really boring”.
The former Oasis guitarist, who joined guests at the GQ Men Of The Year awards earlier this week, said that the circuit had changed compared to how he remembered it.
“The showbiz scene is really boring these days, everyone’s so dull,” he told the Daily Star.
“The old days of wild partying seem to be a thing of the past.”
But the guitarist, who admitted to toning down his own partying, said he expected times would change again in the coming years.
“There will definitely be a new wave of coolness, it’s just a matter of time,” he said, adding that people would have to “wait for the Muppets to go by”.
Meanwhile, Gallagher is understood to be working on his own solo record.
