Linkin Park will perform their new single 'The Catalyst' at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) later this month.
The ceremony, on September 12, will mark the first time the band have played the song on TV.
Singer Chester Bennington said: “After 2 years of working on our new album, we're looking forward to sharing our first live performance of new music with our fans around the world on the MTV Awards.”
Other previously announced performers include Usher, Paramore, Eminem, Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Florence & The Machine.
Lady Gaga leads the way with a record-breaking 13 nominations.
Justin Timberlake, Twilight's Ashley Greene and rapper Nicki Minaj are also scheduled to present awards.
