Lostprophets To Perform At Ryder Cup Golf Concert

Lostprophets are to perform at a special celebration concert in Wales ahead of this year's Ryder Cup golf tournament.

Welcome To Wales takes place at the Millennium Stadium on September 29.

The Welsh band have joined the bill alongside Britain's Got Talent star Shaheen Jarfargholi. Opera star Katherine Jenkins is already set to appear.

“We’re very excited to be a part of the Welcome to Wales concert,” Lostprophets member Mike Lewis said.

“The tradition of sport is huge in Wales, and we know how important it is to the country that such a massive event like the Ryder Cup is being held here. We’re very proud to be part of it.”

The bi-annual golf tournament is set to take place at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport between September 28 and October 3.
