Blondie are set to release a new album entitled 'Panic Of Girls', it's been announced.
The follow-up to 2003's 'The Curse Of Blondie' will be released initially in Australia this year, before rolling out in the UK and US in 2011.
Drummer Clem Burke told Billboard the group had “tried to make the recording process as organic has possible”.
He said their new songs had received “a great reception” live, adding: “We're doing about five or six of them in the show, which is kind of difficult for people, hearing new material for the first time at a show.”
Blondie have played a host of UK shows and festival this summer, including an appearance at The Hop Farm in Kent.
