Tim Westwood Approached To Appear On Dancing On Ice

Tim Westwood has been offered the chance to appear on the celebrity reality show Dancing On Ice.

The Radio 1 DJ revealed that he had been approached about the ITV show on Twitter - and asked his followers to advise him on whether to take part.

“Been offered £50,000 to go on Dancing On Ice - could you see me wearing sequinned outfits,” he wrote.

When his followers urged him to appear on the show, the DJ replied: “I'd have to dance on ice with a woman who looks like a man in drag.”

But he then appeared to warm to the idea: “What time does Baywater rink shut tonite? I've neva been on Ice before - need to try it out.”

Previous series of Dancing On ice have featured a mixture of music stars and celebrities. The 2009 title was won by former Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
