The Cribs have released a special one-off single, entitled 'Housewife'.
The new track was recorded in London and  is available now on seven-inch single and digital download.
The artwork for the single sees various members of the Wakefield band dressed as women.
In a recent webchat with Gigwise readers, The Cribs said they were considering making their next record a pop album.

“I've also been thinking that we should make just a real pop album, not just an indie-pop album – a really full on pop [album],” Ryan Jarman said.
