Gorilaz have made their recent landmark gig in Syria available to listen to online.
The group, led by Damon Albarn, played the one-off show at an 11th century fortified palace in the country's capital Damascus last Sunday (July 25).
They were joined during their set by former Clash members Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, De La Soul and Bobby Womack.
Their set comprised of songs from new album ‘Plastic Beach’, as well as classics ‘Dirty Harry’ and ‘Clint Eastwood’.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Albarn described the show as a “wonderful experience” and said he hoped it could improve relations.
Syria has come under fire in recent years over its opposition to Israel and in May the US extended sanctions against the country.
You can listen to the gig now on NPR.org.
