A teenager who found fame when his cover of one of Lady Gaga’s songs became a YouTube sensation has met his idol.
Greyson Chance, 12, was introduced to the singer backstage at one of her recent concerts in the US.
“I met @LadyGaga! She was so kind, gave me some great advice and put on an amazing show!!” Chance posted on Twitter, along with a picture of the pair together.
In April, Chance became an internet sensation when a video of him singing Lady Gaga’s ‘Paparazzi’ at his school in Oklahoma received more than ten million views on YouTube.
The singer, who resembles Justin Bieber, went on to perform the song live on US TV.
He has since signed to a new record label established by chat show host Ellen Degeneres.
"Greyson inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven.” DeGeneres said.
Lady Gaga is currently on the North American leg of her Monster Ball tour.
