Madonna has been warned by council officials after staff at her London home staged a noisy house party.
Residents near the singer's Marylebone property complained about loud music and singing coming from the house last month.
Westminster City Council officers arrived mid-afternoon and deemed the music levels to be of a "statutory nuisance".
Madonna was issued with a noise abatement order, despite not being in the country at the time of the party, reports the Press Association.
The case is unlikely to go to court, but if Madonna was to cause any other offence she could face a fine of £5,000.
