Prince Charles has taken a tour of the Glastonbury festival in Somerset this afternoon (June 24).
The prince was escorted around Worthy farm by organiser Michael Eavis, before being introduced to musicians and festival-goers.
Charles' visit, which was linked to his role as president of Wateraid - one of three charities to benefit directly from Glastonbury – also coincides with the festival's 40th anniversary.
Thousands of festival-goers have already arrived on site ahead of the start of the festival tomorrow (June 25).
Gigwise will be coming live from the festival all weekend, so keep checking www.gigwise.com for the latest news, photos and interviews. For more information about Glastonbury and all this summer's festivals, check out the Gigwise Festival Guide.
