Arcade Fire have announced that their new album will be entitled ‘The Suburbs’.
The record, produced by the band and Markus Dravs, will be released on August 2.
The follow-up to 2007’s ‘Neon Bible’ is preceded by a AA-side single ‘The Suburbs’ / ‘Month Of May’, which was released on 12” vinyl today (May 27).
Both songs will feature on the album, according to a hand-written message on the band’s website.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Arcade Fire will headline the Reading and Leeds festivals in August alongside Guns N’ Roses and Blink-182.
