Chris Brown is making progress with his probation following his assault on former girlfriend Rihanna last year, a judge has heard.
The US R&B star has completed nearly a fifth - 300 hours - of his mandatory community service.
Brown's attorney said he had also attended all but one of 52 domestic violence counselling sessions, reports the BBC.
The singer attacked Rihanna one the eve of the Grammy Awards in February 2009.
Brown, who was sentenced to five years probation last August, later apologised for the attack.
