Lady Gaga has spoken out about American Idol producer’s decision to cut her performance on the show.
The singer recorded new single ‘Alejandro’, which was preceded by a ballad-only intro of ‘Bad Romance’ for the hit TV show.
But when the programme aired on Wednesday (May 5), only ‘Alejandro’ was played due to time constraints.
However, US media reports have also claimed that other segments were axed because they were too racy for TV.
In a message on Twitter, Lady Gaga didn’t address the reason why the performance had been cut, but instead posted a link to a full version.
“Idol cut down my performance--see the full-length performance here little monsters,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is due to return to the UK later this month as part of her Monster Ball world tour.
