Peter Hook will perform Joy Division’s ‘Unknown Pleasures’ at a second gig in Manchester, it's been announced.
Last month, the band's former bassist unveiled plans to play the album sequentially and in its entirety at the Factory on May 18.
Due to “phenomenal demand and interest”, organisers have now announced second date at the same venue on May 19.
The shows will be the first time that Hook has performed the record in its entirety.
The Factory is also planning an exhibition to coincide with the concert, which will showcase images, artefacts and other memorabilia from Joy Division’s career.
Tickets for the gig - priced £19.99 - are on sale now and available via Gigwise Gig Tickets.
A proportion of ticket proceeds from the show will be split between the leading mental health charity Mind and the Keith Bennett Appeal.
