Jarvis Cocker has been nominated for the Rising Star award at this year's Sony Radio Academy Awards.
The former Pulp singer was shortlisted for his work on digital station BBC 6 Music, which received a total of seven nominations.
Breakfast show presenter Lauren Laverne picked up two nods for Music Radio Personality of the Year and Best Music Programme.
DJs Huey Morgan and Steve Lamacq are also in the running for Music Broadcaster of the Year, while Adam and Joe were shortlisted for Best Comedy.
6 Music's nominations come just a month after the station was outlined for closure by the BBC along with the Asian Network in a bid to cut costs.
The plans have triggered a backlash from musicians and the public.
The Asian Network is in the running for two awards at the ceremony, which will take place in London on May 10.
