Now, Paramore singer Hayley Williams has got in the act with her piano version of Ms Germanotta's 2009 smash hit.

Posted on Youtube on Sunday, Williams unnervingly Gaga-esque cover has attracted over 140,000 views and is currently the second most viewed video on the website.

Last month Williams admitted she was “obsessed” with Lady Gaga after seeing her perform at The Grammys.

She told MTV: "I think it's amazing to have female artists that write their own material and they put all the work in.

"I'm very newly obsessed with Lady Gaga. We've been needing an artist like her for a long time, for awhile now: She does everything, and she's great at it. And I really respect that."
