Snoop Dogg has said he has “no problem” doing battle with teen star Justin Bieber in the race to top the US Billboard album chart.
Both act's new albums – Bieber's 'My World 2.' and Snoop's 'More Malice' – are vying for number one on this week's chart.
And despite the 16-year-old's obsessive fan base, Snoop Dogg said he wasn't concerned about young pretenders and actually admired the star.
"I don't have no problem with that," he told MTV at the the launch of 'More Malice', an extended edition of his recent LP, 'Malice In Wonderland'.
"That's what the music industry was made on. I actually had a chance to meet the guy. He's kind of cool.
“So, I don't really have a problem with the teenyboppers or whatnot."
The 38-year-old rapper added: "Once upon a time, I was a young teenager coming into the game, driving 'em crazy and whatnot.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Snoop Dogg is one of the acts being lined up to appear at this summer's Glastonbury festival in Somerset.
If confirmed, he will follow in the footsteps of Jay-Z, who headlined the event in 2008.
