Franz Ferdinand plan to give their fans access to their second album as they record it as part of their website video diary.
The much-lauded Scots will post diary entries with exclusive footage of the the band’s progress, reports the BBC.
A statement read: "Fans will have access to the recording process and witness the band creating their new songs."
It continued: "It's likely the band will use the online diaries to release exclusive tracks from their new album, ahead of the official release date."
Franz frontman Alex Kapranos has already hinted this year that the eagerly-anticipated second album will be a lot darker than their debut.
