Former Housemartins guitarist Stan Cullimore has formed a new band for a forthcoming children's TV show.
The Bopps, which is also the name of the group, will begin on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. next month.
It tells the story of the fictional band, who live in a secret tree house called The Boppstop and share their love of music with children around the world via The Gloombuster.
Other members of The Bopps include Littler and Cross' Keith and Mike, and Joanna Ruiz.
Cullimore, who is now a published children's author, said: “The band has evolved from long-standing friendships and a shared passion for the same genre of music.
“Suddenly we found ourselves with enough songs for an album and the idea for the TV Series grew from there.”
Cullimore was a founding member of The Housemartins in the 1980s alongside Paul Heaton and Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim.
The Bopps is due to be shown on Nick Jr. everyday from April 5.
