Finalists Announced For King Of The Mountain

After ten days or so of voting Gigwise can now reveal the names of the four bands that have progressed to the final of our King of the Mountain competition.

For those of you not in the know, King of the Mountain is a competition for unsigned bands with the main prize being a slot on the bill of thisyear's Snowbombing festival in Mayrhofen, Austria.

After hundreds of entries, twenty bands were put forward to a public vote which closed at midnight on Wednesday (February 24th) and now the results are in.

So without further ado, the four bands who have made it to the final are:

BIBELOTS
Catfish and the Bottlemen
Echo Empire
King Porter Stomp

The final takes place on Thursday April 8th in Mayrhofen, more details of stage times and venue will be announced on Gigwise in the coming weeks.

We would like to thank all the bands that made it to the final twenty and we wish them good luck in their future musical careers.
