Red Dwarf and Coronation Street actor Craig Charles is the unlikely latest act to self-confirm a Glastonbury slot this summer.
The star will play Worthy Farm and The Big Chill with the funk supergroup he formed with James Taylor, John Turrell, Dionne Charles, Eddie Roberts, Snowboy, Mike Bandoni, Ernie McKone and The Haggis Horns.
Charles made the revelations on his BBC6music show after a a listener what the band's were for the festival season.
He said: “We are playing at Glastonbury and we are playing The Big Chill.”
According to Virtual Festivals, Charles has previously DJ'd at both events.
The 40th anniversary of Glastonbury Festival is headlined by U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder. All tickets are sold out.
